Odd Shower

On Sunday we finished polishing up the truck, then took a very nice walk down a dirt road into a wooded area by the truck stop. It is not often we have an area like that for a nice peaceful walk and not hear the sounds of trucks idling. There were little streams all over the place and lots of birds. Was really pretty.

After the walk we went into the truck stop for a shower. The Flying J truck stops have a large TV room and usually the showers are down halls from the TV room. I guess I should explain the showers. When you buy 50 gallons of fuel you get a coupon that lasts 5 days for a "free" shower or you can pay$8.50 for a shower. We had to pay as we do not fuel at the Flying J. There was a football on the TV and about 30 men and a couple women watching this game and screaming bloody murder. I am not a football person so I do not know who was playing or why it required all the screaming you could them outside. So the shower I get is the handicapped shower and you got it the door to the shower is from the TV room. So you are standing there taking your shower and not ten feet away you hear all the screaming! Well that shower did not take long at all. Not very peaceful.

Today we finally pick up our load and we get to stay warm in the south.
